She was not aware of soil or groundwater analysis performed on the property to detect chemicals. 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION 3.1 Research Methods NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address ranges. 3.1.1 Reaional Water Oualitv Control Board NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) list (October 2008), the Water Purveyors Quarterly Report on MTBE(October 2008), and the Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and Cleanups (SLIC) list (1't Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)4 in an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject_ 7onfan in a one-quarter mile radius of bject property. The Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, dated April 3, 2006 and the LOP/Non-LDP Sites list, not dated, were reviewed at the EHD on October 28, 2008. One site, McReno Trust Property located at 5279 Cherokee Road in Stockton, California, was found within one-quarter mile of the subject property. In a letter dated November 6, 2008,-the EHP indicated this file could not be found for review. A copy of this letter is included in Appendix E of this report. 3.1.3 San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services The San Joaquin County_Office of Emergency Services (DES) website6 was searched on October 28, 2008 in an attempt0 mine whether a hazardous materials inventory is on file for the subject property. No records re found for the subject property.
