 J
The policy shall apply to:
• Any amendments to the new General Plan 2010 after adoption by
the Board of Supervisors.
• Documentation adequate to enable the Department of Public Works
to determine conformance with this policy shall be provided as
required.
If the applicant intends to file a full application, then a water study must
first be submitted to the Department of Public Works.
Opposition
The Farm Bureau sent a letter of opposition expressing concerns regarding the
proposed project. The Farm Bureau considers the project as leap-frog
development and as considered, the project would set a precedent for an area
currently in agricultural production.
Summary
The proposed General Plar amendment appears to conflict with many General
Plan policies.
Next Steps
When the applicant is ready to submit the full application it will be necessary to
do the following:
• Submit the remaining portion of the General Plan amendment fee.
• Submit ten copies of the map to be amended.
• Submit ten copies of the application.
• Submit a Soil Suitability Study prepared to the specifications of the
Environmental Hea& Division if applicable.
• Submit a Zone Reclassification application to include:
• Ten copies of the completed application.
• Ten copies of the assessor page(s) with the area to be rezoned outline.
Label the map with both the "existing" and "proposed" zoning of the plan.
• One copy of the recorded deed.
• Submit a Soil Suitability Study prepared to the specifications of the
Environmental Health Division if applicable.
• Submit a water policy study to the Department of Public Works.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT
s 600 East Main Street, Stockton, California 95202
January 18, 2008
To: San Joaquin County Community Development Department
Attention: Mo Hatef
From: San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Contact Person: Michael F.
