Rioblancho loam is somewhat poorly drained, nearly level soil on basin rims. It is moderately <br /> deep to hardpan; it formed in alluvium derived from mixed rock sources. This unit is suited for <br /> irrigated pasture. This unit is in capability class Illw-8 for irrigated and class IVs-8 for non- <br /> irrigated land. The stone index rating is 31. This unit is not considered prime farmland. <br /> Acampo sandy loam is a very deep, well drained, nearly level soil on low fan terraces. It is deep <br /> to hardpan. It formed in alluvium derived from granitic rock sources. This soil is well suited to <br /> irrigated row, field, orchard and vineyard crops. This unit is capability class IIs-8 irrigated and <br /> capability class IV-c1 non-irrigated. The storie index is 57 and is considered to be prime farmland. <br /> The applicant has indicated that the proposed Minor Subdivision application is for agricultural <br /> purposes, the proposed 40 plus acre parcels are presumed to be large enough to sustain <br /> commercial agricultural viability as defined in Section 51238.1 of the California Land <br /> Conservation Act. The proposed subdivision will not be a conversion of prime farmland as the <br /> General Plan designation and the zoning designation will remain the same. <br /> Next Step <br /> When the applicant is ready to submit the full application, it will be necessary to do the following: <br /> • Submit seven copies of a completed Minor Subdivision Application form. <br /> • Submit seven copies (18'x26") of the vesting tentative parcel map and two reduced <br /> copies (8 %"x 11") of a vesting tentative parcel map. <br /> • Submit a Surface & Subsurface Contamination Report to the Environmental Health <br /> Department.
