Based on a review of
the EHD septic permits, the Avanti Nut Co.site appears to be equipped with at least three septic
1 systems. The vicinity of the site consists of agricultural land/orchards followed by single building
residences and/or rural farm building clusters to the north, south, and east. The assumption was
made that each building/cluster of buildings has one septic system. Using this method, we
' determined there is an average of three septic systems per forty acres in the vicinity of the site.
1 .3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
Septic permits on file with the EHD were requested for the adjoining properties surrounding the
site.
