Mr. Van Buren said the gazebo area needs to have a solid masonry wall along the east property <br /> line. Mr. Ross said his client had no objection to building the wall. <br /> Mr. Van Buren said that an Acoustical Study would be required if there is to be live music. <br /> Mr. Pollard said that there would not be any live music. <br /> Mr. Van Buren said that a permit condition will be required indicating no live music will be <br /> allowed in the gazebo area, and that the hours of operation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.. <br /> Mr. Pollard agreed with the conditions. <br /> Mr. Van Buren said the parking area will be adequate if Mr. Pollard can obtain an agreement <br /> with the two churches that are adjacent to the site. Mr. Pollard will need something in writing <br /> indicating that he may have use of their parking areas during the churches off-hours. Also Mr. <br /> Van Buren said the project site parking would need to be re-striped. <br /> Mr. Van Buren asked Mr. Borges and Mr. Karam if either of them had and any comments <br /> regarding food service in the gazebo area. Mr. Borges mentioned that he spoke with <br /> Greg Oliveira of Environmental Health Division, and that Mr. Oliveira had done an inspection <br /> of Mr. Pollards Palace showboat. Mr. Oliver indicated that the showboat had a minimum <br /> kitchen facility. Mr. Borges said that Mr. Oliveira was not aware of any other activity at the site; <br /> so the issue of food service in the gazebo area had not been addressed. Mr. Ross said that 99% <br /> of the food service came out of their Chicken Kitchen. Mr. Borges said that Mr. Pollard may run <br /> into a problem if he allowed others to cook their own food. Mr. Pollard said that he doesn't <br /> allow that. <br /> Mr. Van Buren ask Mr. Herzick if there were any issues regarding the gazebo from the Building <br /> Division. Mr. Herzick said that the gazebo was built without permit, and the structure was <br /> inadequate. Mr. Pollard said that he would fix it. Mr. Pollard also mentioned that his plans were <br /> to check all the building out and bring them up to code. <br /> Mr. Van Buren said that the Planning Division has no issues with School Tours but that Public <br /> Works would need to know the traffic impact. <br /> Mr. Pollard asked about Special Events. Mr. Van Buren said that for Special Events Mr. Pollard <br /> would need to come into the Community Development Department about a month before the <br /> event and apply for an Improvement Plan. <br /> Mr. Van Buren asked if any of the Departments had any issues with the Palace showboat. Mr. <br /> Karam asked Mr. Pollard to make sure that all changes were clear. Mr. Van Buren said that <br /> Public Works needs Mr. Pollard to substantiate any new traffic for Public Works. Mr. Pollard <br /> said that the Palace showboat is open on Saturday nights and that there would not be any changes <br /> in traffic. Mr. Pollard said the only change would be that on some Saturday nights there maybe <br /> dancing and other Saturday nights they may have the dinner theater, so the only change would <br /> just be in clientele. Mr. Pollard also mentioned that at this time Pollardville was opened from <br />
