Analysis
Background
On October 1, 1992, the Planning Commission approved Major Subdivision No. SU-91-12. On December
8, 1998, the Board of Supervisors approved a five-year Time Extension for the subdivision.
Revisions
The applicant is requesting that Public Works Condition of Approval No. 2.[f] be revised. The condition
requires the applicant to construct a public water system. However, the applicant states that the water
system is not needed at this time and is requesting that the condition be revised to defer construction of
the well for a period of seven years or when construction of the well is warranted.
Public Works' Response
The Public Works Department has reviewed the applicant's request and has determined that the public
water system is not necessary at this time. Therefore, the Public Works Department is recommending
that the applicant enter into an agreement with San Joaquin County to defer construction of the water well
to a future time when water demand warrants construction.
All other conditions of approval for the project shall still apply.
San Joaquin County SU-91-12Wtwood
Community Development Page 3
