c. Connection to an approved public water supply system is required (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1120.2) <br /> A letter from the water supplier will be required which states that they have the capacity to serve the <br /> development and that the system meets State standards prior to recording the Final Map. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1100.3) <br /> d. Construction of individual sewage disposal systems under permit and inspection by Environmental <br /> Health is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> findings (Development Title Section 9-1110.4). Estate type zoning (R-R1) shall require a double <br /> leach field system with an alternating distribution box to be installed at the time of construction. <br /> e A sewage disposal area as indicated by the septic tank soil suitability study and/or percolation tests <br /> must be shown for each parcel on the final subdivision improvement plans (Development Title <br /> Section 9-1105.2). <br /> f. The Environmental Health Department requires any abandoned wells to be destroyed under permit <br /> and inspection by Environmental Health (Development Title Section 9-1115.5[e]). <br /> NOTE: Environmental Health cannot support the use of the existing well for domestic purposes on <br /> the proposed Parcel 2. <br /> g. Open, pump, and backfill the septic tank, seepage pit, or excavation under permit and inspection by <br /> Environmental Health prior to recordation of Parcel/Final Map approval (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 11104) <br /> 5 DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (Staff Contact Michael R. Callahan, 468-3000) <br /> a. All improvements shall be in conformance with the current Improvement Standards and <br /> Specifications of the County of San Joaquin. All improvement plans and specifications shall include <br /> a grading plan for each individual lot, if applicable. These improvement plans and specifications are <br /> subject to plan check and field inspection fees and must be approved by Public Works prior to <br /> recording the Final Map. If improvements referred to herein are not completed prior to recording the Final Map, the subdivider <br /> shall execute an agreement with the County of San Joaquin ensuring the completion of <br /> improvements within one year after approval of the Final Map. (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1100.3[j]) <br /> c A Preliminary Soils Report is required in accordance with County standards for the purpose of <br /> determining the R-Value for the design of the roads. (Development Title Section 9-910.2) <br /> d A grading plan shall be submitted as part of the improvement plans and approved prior to approval of <br /> the Final Map. The grading plan shall contain the information listed in the UPC, Appendix, Chapter <br /> 33, Section 3309, with complete drainage details and elevations of adjacent parcels. Retaining wall <br /> details shall be submitted where applicable. Grading in excess of 5,000 cubic yards shall comply <br /> with Sections 3309.3 and 3309.4 for"Engineered Grading Requirements." <br /> e. Water meters shall be installed on all water services.
