I. UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: The following Uniform Building Code and San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection <br /> Division: <br /> (1) The proposed Phase I building shall be of Type II one-hour construction, Type <br /> III, one-hour construction, or Type IV, one-hour construction with fire sprinklers <br /> to satisfy the allowable area requirements. <br /> m. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for <br /> a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of: <br /> A. Appendix III-A of the Uniform Fire Code (public water mains). <br /> (2) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California <br /> Fire Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of <br /> the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> (3) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with 902.4 <br /> (4) Key Boxes: A knox box shall be installed according to fire department <br /> instructions. <br /> (5) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, <br /> Volume 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> 2.
