Rolland Johnson said he would like to see an Environmental Impact Report prepared for this project. <br /> REBUTTAL: <br /> Mike Hakeem said a number of concerns by the opposition are about the future Use Permit application. He <br /> said that what is before the Planning Commission tonight is if they can make the bases for General Plan <br /> Amendment and Zone Reclassification as presented in the staff report. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED: <br /> Commissioner Morri said this application meets the internal consistency of the General Plan and the bases <br /> for the Zone Reclassification. People will have another chance to speak about their special concerns when <br /> the Use Permit application is submitted. <br /> Commissioner Carter said this application meets the criteria about where a truck terminal should go. She can <br /> make the bases for the General Plan Amendment and the Zone Reclassification. <br /> MOTION: <br /> It was moved, seconded (Carter/Morri), and passed by a unanimous roll call vote (5-0)to: <br /> 7. Approve the Negative Declaration; <br /> 2. Forward General Plan Map Amendment No. PA-0500367 to the Board of Supervisors with a <br /> recommendation of intent to approve based on the ability to make the required "Basis for General Plan <br /> Map Amendment"; and <br /> 3. Forward Zone Reclassification No. PA-0500368 to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation of <br /> intent to approve based on the ability to make the required"Bases for Zone Reclassification." <br /> VOTE: <br /> AYES: CARTER, ELEY, BLANCHARD, MORRI, STOCKAR <br /> NOES: NONE <br /> ABSENT: NONE <br /> The Public is Welcome to Address the Planning Commission on Items of Interest to the Public That <br /> Are Not Listed on the Agenda. Presentations to the Commission Are Limited to a Maximum of Five <br /> Minutes <br /> Mary Kopsa said she had several goats that ate the weeds and brush in the drainage ditch behind her house. <br /> She was told that that could not keep these goats as pets. She asked the Commission to consider letting her <br /> keep these goats as pets so that she could continue to use them for brush control. She presented a petition <br /> with 80 signatures in support of her request. <br /> Kerry Sullivan, Director, said they could come back to the Planning Commission with a report discussing the <br /> issues on this subject.
