SA-01-43 OF WOODBRIDGE <br /> PARTNERS, INC. (C/O DILLION & MURPHY AND JOSE ALVA). <br /> The applicant is requesting the approval of a Site Approval application to develop a 2.4- <br /> acre parcel into a temporary charter school for the years 2001-2002. The school will <br /> consist of 16 classrooms and one office (totaling 12,960 square feet), a multi-purpose <br /> room (4,320 square feet) and three restrooms (1,050 square feet). The temporary <br /> school site will have 356 students and 20 faculty members. The school will operate from <br /> 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM., and will provide before and after school child care for some <br /> students. Some children will be transported via school bus, utilizing 3 or 4 buses. The <br /> site currently contains an abandoned meat packing facility. The proposed school will be <br /> located on a vacant area to the north of said facility. The school site is currently paved. <br /> The project site is located on the northeast comer of State Route 99 East Frontage Road <br /> and Clarksdale Road, Acampo. (Use Type: Educational Services — General). <br /> The Community Development Department received one letter in opposition and one <br /> petition in opposition with 91 signatures. The letter and petition are attached. <br /> The attached Public Health Service's letter of June 7, 2001 indicates that the <br /> Environmental Health Division cannot support this project. Unless the health issues can <br /> be resolved, the <br /> be resolved,ed the Commun ty Demmunity Develoment Department will deny the project. If the velopment Department offers the following <br /> health <br /> issues can b <br /> comments: <br /> Site Approval Application No. was approved by the Planning Commission on .
