SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc (Live Oak) was contracted by Amar Mathfallu to <br /> conduct a Soil Suitability Study for the property located at 18787 and 18915 North 3� <br /> Highway 99 West Frontage Road, Acampo, California (Plate 1). <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> A minor subdivision is proposed to divide the Site into two new parcels, approximately <br /> five and`three acres in die (Plate 2). Mr. Mathfallu indicated that he plans to build a <br /> new houS andapant orchaM on the rear parcel. <br /> Site Description <br /> The Site consists of Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 013-220-16, approximately eight <br /> acres in size. It is located at 18787 and 18915 North Highway 99 West Frontage Road, <br /> Acampo, California. The Site consists of agricultural land with a house located on the <br /> Frontage Road. A domestic well and an irrigation well supply water to the Site. A small <br /> shed and a shade structure are located on the Site as well (Plate 3). <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 55 feet above mean sea level (Plate 4). The Site is relatively flat. <br /> The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the <br /> Site is zoned AG-20, general agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 20 acres. This <br /> zoning designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of <br /> commercial agricultural enterprises." <br /> LOGE 1422 Page 1 <br />
