I believe urinals are more efficient? what is the gal. flush rating on
those? we could take our usage even lower this way. we propose 2 urinals in the
new facility.
this meter used 40,890 gals or 51. 75 gals per day into the septic field.
51 .75 divided by 1 .7 per flush = 30.44 people/uses per day.
middle meter = off site water. soda, coffee, etc this had 26,240 or 33.215 gp day.
we do not allocate this meter and ignore it for septic purposes this is for info
only.
east meter= grease trap... this unit also has the swamp cooler hooked up to it.
unfortunately the swamp cooler should have been hooked up to the off site water
meter or the middle meter. we will subtract the calculated usage off the actual
usage as swamp cooler water never goes to a drain but into the air for cooling
purposes. this meter reads 288,900 gals... or 365 gpd. this meter is for the washing
machine, hand wash sink, veggie sink, 3 comp. sink, dish washer, hand dips, mop
sink, h.w. tank and as mentioned swamp cooler.
the swamp cooler runs together with the hood fan req. by ca. state law. we
calculate 4:30 am till 6:30 pm or 14 hrs per day. @ 7500 cfm this unit draws 20.2
gp h. or 282.8 gals p/day. we subtract 282.2 from 365 and get 82.2 q is per day
going to the field.
total septic/grease trap usage = 51. 75 gals + 82.2 gals = 133.95
our last nitrate loading study shows our usage was going to be 732 gals per
day...-o). are we ever glad we put in water meters...;o)...:o)
our next building will use the same human work force. we will move everyone from
9'5/'006
