in my opinion this harmless water that comes out of heat exchangers should
go into a retention pond instead of down the septic field but either way is ok by us I
guess. just simple used water with nothing in it. it was water before and water after.
just a little warmer.
I just called my refrigeration guy and he said certain areas do have problem
with discharge water and it is an issue. he said we may need to drill a hole like a
seepage pit and send it down there. he didn't think they would like the retention
pond idea but didn't know the reason why not. it is a much more efficient way of
cooling though and much more economical.
for example a 5 hp air cooled unit would equal a 3 hp water cooled unit. in
some places counties just cant deal with all that waste water I guess. in my opinion
they should rule on these folks who have irrigation water streaming down the street
every am. over watering their lawns...oops...ok I digress...
ok...enough of my rambling. plz let me know how to interpret this item. thank
you again and again! take care...sdj.
ps...what is the water boards ph # ?.thxs...
9/5/2006
