f. FIRE CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction <br /> plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of public water mains <br /> (Appendix III-A of the Uniform Fire Code) and static water supply (NFPA 1231 of the <br /> National Fire Code). <br /> (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> (3) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with Section 902.4. A <br /> knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Volume <br /> 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to <br /> life or property(C.F.C. 105.2.1). <br /> 2.
