HI6HNAY 99, STOCA70N, SAN
JOAQUIN COUNTY
We have reviewed the sample results from the soil borings collected at your
facility, dated 10 April 1990. Six composite soil samples, four taken from
the leach field and two taken as background samples, were analyzed for total
lead and extractable lead.
The sample results indicate that extractable lead in all samples is below the
detection limit of 0.5 ppm. Also, lead levels in contaminated soil were the
same as the background levels of lead. We agree with your conclusion that
activities on the site have not contributed to background levels of lead,
Your site does not pose a threat to water quality and, therefore, no further
assessment is required.
You should contact San Joaquin County Public Health Services regarding the
problems with your septic system. We again request you connect to the City
sewer system as soon as possible to prevent future problems.
If youhaveany questions, please call me at (916) 361-5673.
V Y&&
TWILA L.
