The project site is located on the corner of <br /> Marfargoa Drive and South State Route 99 East Frontage Road. On-site uses of the parcel include a restaurant and motel building. The northern and <br /> southern parcel lines are adjacent to industrial buildings. The eastern property line is adjacent to <br /> a mobile home park. The western property line is adjacent to south State Route 99 east Frontage <br /> Road. <br /> Background <br /> On December 2, 2004, the Planning Commission directed the Community Development <br /> Department to initiate revocation proceedings for Use Permit No. 295 and Use Permit No. 315 <br /> because of the excessive number of calls to the Sheriffs Department regarding disturbances at the <br /> project site. On March 3, 2005 the Planning Commission modified the Use Permits to not allow for <br /> the sale of alcohol beverages after 11:00 p.m. and dancing shall not be permitted independently <br /> from the operation of the restaurant and to prohibit live entertainment, except as permitted under <br /> Table 9-505.4 Temporary Uses and Structures in Industrial Zones for Special Events. <br />
