Highway 99 East Frontage Road, Stockton, CA 95215 <br /> Dear Mr. Huynh, <br /> Per your request, our office has completed an engineered septic system design for the subject <br /> eight unit motel building. We understand the motel has been"red tagged"by the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department. We understand one of the problems is that the <br /> existing septic system is not operating correctly and will require complete replacement. <br /> This letter and attached drawing provide an engineered design for the motel septic system. The <br /> non-engineered systems could be evaluated and repaired as necessary by D.A. Parrish& Sons. <br /> The scope of work involved in this study was to first measure the dimensions of the property and <br /> some of the buildings. This work was performed on December 10, 2004. An aerial photograph <br /> for the site was obtained and combined with the field drawings to create a base map. <br /> Seven septic system permit copies were obtained from the client which illustrate most of the <br /> septic system history of the property. These permits are attached to this letter. Based on these <br /> permit copies, the location of the septic systems were plotted on the site plan as best as possible. <br /> The actual locations may differ greatly from what was plotted on the site plan. The location of <br /> the existing septic system on the property is our best working idea of where the systems may <br /> exist until better information becomes available. <br /> The leach line sizing calculation for this project is based on the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department's Sewage Standards.
