Chesney's calcu ations axe presented on Page 7 of the report. His flow estimate is based on 20 worsh pens each day other than Friday, one employee, and 294 worshipers on Friday. It was 'Jhesney's understanding that there would not be a kitchen in the facility. The waste water flow projected by Chesney is presented in the first column of data In the attached spreadsheet of wastewater flows. At the request of the Madina personnel, a meeting was held between the n and the Executive Committee of the MAA. During this meeting, personnel from the Madina conceded that there might be a kitchen in the facility. Considering the fa;t that the Madina envisions having occasional major religious festivals and that there is likely to be a full time employee, It seems more likely than not that kitchen facilit es will be Included in the project. The San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Disposal Standards Page 13 requires the use of a wastewater generation factor of lo gallons per capita per day ( 3PGD) for churches with kitchens_ Chesney used a fdetor of only 5 GPCD since he ha I not been informed that there would be a kitehen. Chesney also allowed for only one "shift, of 20 worshipers each day alta tough it is understood from the meeting with the MAA executive committee that there will be five "shifts"of worshipers each day. Chesney also assumed that the 20 worshippers would be present only sl;: days per week even though Page 2 of the Application — Use Permit states that tf ey will be present seven days per week. Chesney also used a factor of only 5 GPCD for the employee while the Cot my Onsite Wastewater Disposal Standards, Page 13, suggests a value of 30 GPCD for a day worker at a school. i 2
