NOTE: If over one acre of soil is disturbed, a NOI to comply with the State General NPDES <br /> Construction Permit shall be required. <br /> 3. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT (Staff Contact: Mike Escotto, 468-3443) <br /> a. A soil suitability study, as required by Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, which indicates that the area is suitable for a septic tank system must be <br /> performed prior to issuance of a building permit. A review fee of$186.00 is required at the time <br /> of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice <br /> or the EPA Design Manual for on-site wastewater treatment and disposal systems is required for <br /> each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> b. A concrete structure was observed on this site. Further investigation as to whether this is an <br /> abandoned well or historical irrigation pipeline will need to be provided to the Environmental <br /> Health Department prior to issuance of a building permit. If a well is found, it shall be destroyed <br /> by a C-57 licensed contractor under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department prior to the issuance of a building permit. (Development Title Section 9-1115.5[e]) <br /> c. Connection to an approved public water supply system is required. (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1120.2) <br /> d. Construction of an individual sewage disposal system under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development as determined by the <br /> soil suitability study. (Development Title Sections 9-1110.3 and 9-1110.4) <br /> NOTE: An existing public water system well is located adjacent to this project. Any proposed <br /> septic system will need to be 150 feet from the well. <br /> Conditions of Approval -4 - PA-03-318 <br />
