A) Materials <br /> Diesel Fuel - Used by trucks and tractors, and, will be stored in double <br /> containment, as approved by the Fire Marshall. <br /> Soil Fumigants - Mixtures of methyl bromide and chloropicrin will be stored in <br /> prepackaged, sealed, steel cylinders and stored outdoors on flatbed trailers or <br /> inside trailer vans. Another soil fumigant, 1,3-dichloropropene may be stored in <br /> the future in prepackaged, sealed, mini-bulk tanks on the back of trucks. No soil <br /> fumigants will be released or transferred between containers on the facility. <br /> Adhesive - A thick adhesive will be stored in new, sealed, 55-gallon, steel drums <br /> on trailers. This adhesive is used on farmers' fields to glue together the plastic film <br /> which is used to cover the soil, during the soil fumigation procedure. <br /> Plastic Film - Rolls of plastic film will be stored on the ground. It comes in rolls <br /> that are 13' wide by 9" in diameter. <br /> B) Equipment <br /> Trucks - During August through November, there will be an average of about <br /> three trucks operating at the facility. These trucks carry the soil fumigation <br /> materials and pull a trailer which carries a tractor. <br /> Tractors- Both crawler-type and wheel-type tractors will be parked at the facility. <br /> They may be parked on the ground or on trailers. <br /> Forklift - A forklift will be used on the facility to transfer soil fumigation materials <br /> onto the trucks. <br /> Steam Cleaner - A steam cleaner will be used to wash mud and dirt off the <br /> tractors. <br /> Welding Equipment - This will be stored in the shop for on-site use or taken to <br /> farmers' fields to repair broken equipment. <br /> 3 <br />
