The soil suitability study was <br /> completed in anticipation of the San Joaquin Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> requirements. <br /> The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by the San Joaquin <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> r In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information,geologic <br /> maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> septic system. <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> r. the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> J1.1 Site Description <br /> The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 103-280-14. The parcel is 4.85 acres in size <br /> (Plate 1). The county application number is pending.
