it
+ September 30,2002
Job Number: LG02-310
Page 3
and Spring 1999 maps were used to determine the general depth and flow direction of regional
ground water(Plates 2 through 5) for the subject site.' The following table summarizes all the
available ground water information collected for the site and the nearby area.
Table 1.
rte. The ground water flow direction was toward the east
and southeast with a gradient ranging between 4.8 to 7.1 feet per mile(see Plates 4 and 5).
A water sample was obtained from the onsite water well located 5533 E. Quashnick
Road, Stockton. The samples were collected on August 23, 2002 and sent to Precision Enviro-
Tech Analytical Laboratory, Stockton on the same day. The laboratory tested the water samples
for the presence of dibromochloropropane(DBCP) and Nitrate(NO3) per County requirements.
. The test results indicated that DBCP was non-detectable ffDland nitrate was found at
44 mg/1-NO3. The result of the nitrate test indicates the ground water is below the maximum
contaminate level set by the United States Environmental Protection Agency of 45 mg/L as NO3.
L- The test results are attached in the appendix.
San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District.
