The <br /> purpose of the investigation is to provide foundation recommendations for design and construction <br /> of the proposed residence. This report presents the results of our investigation. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> It is proposed to construct a new 3000 square foot private residence on a 0.6 acre lot located <br /> at the northeast corner of Country Club and Rainer, Stockton,California. Proposed construction for <br /> the residence is single story wood frame with raised wood floors supported by spread/stem wall <br /> footings. The garage will have a concrete slab-on-grade. Foundation loads will be light. It is our <br /> office's understanding the project is in the early development stages and the owner is still making <br /> design decisions. Our office should be consulted if grading or foundations are different from those <br /> indicated in this report. <br /> The foundation study conducted at this site was prepared for the use of the architect and/or <br /> engineer for application to the design of the residence in accordance with generally accepted <br /> geotechnical engineering practices. <br /> SITE CONDITIONS <br /> The general geology of the area indicates that the soils at this site are alluvial and basin <br /> deposits of sands, silts,and clays overlain by marsh deposits of organic silts and clays. The general <br /> topography of the area is relatively flat terrain. <br /> At the time of our investigation,the site consisted of a large landscaped yard. The site was <br />
