LOGE 1601: Martinez SSCR Update Page 3
April 25, 2016
Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The SWRCB's GeoTracker database includes underground
storage tank (UST) sites, leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites, cleanup program
sites, and land disposal sites. The database can be searched by reviewing two lists, the LJ i
Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites list and the Cleanup Sites list. DTSC's
EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response sites, voluntary cleanup
sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and permitted hazardous waste facilities.
Live Oak searched both databases on March 6, 2016 for any listed sites within one-quarter mile /
of the Site. The subject Site was not listed on either database, and no listed facilities were 6 Z' 3 5)
identified within one-quarter mile of the Site.
Agricultural Commissioner's Records
Live Oak contacted the San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office regarding
agricultural use of the site. According to Hiromi Hernandez, no use reports were identified for t'33
the subject Site (correspondence, March 17, 2016).
Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources
The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) Online Mapping
System (DOMS) was queried on March 6, 2016 for mapped oil or gas wells within one-quarter
mile of the subject Site. One well (Hexadyne Energy Corp. "Dondero" 2-1, API 07720729) was
identified within the search area. The well, located adjacent to the west of the Site, is a plugged
and abandoned dry hole. Because of its status, the well is not anticipated to impact the site.
National Pipeline Mapping System Database
Live Oak reviewed the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) database on March 6, 2016 (3>1)
for evidence of hazardous materials pipelines within one-quarter mile of the Site. No pipelines 3
were identified within the search area. Local pipelines which are not mapped by the NPMS may
be present in the area.
Conclusions
The environmental status of the Site appears similar to that discussed in the previous report.
The Site continues to be used for agriculture, though it appears that no chemicals have been
applied in recent years. In the vicinity of the rental house and garage, parked cars, domestic
debris, and miscellaneous objects such as chairs, crates, tires, and appliances were noted, it
was unclear how much of this material was planned for use in the future. At the adjacent
property to the south of the western side of the Site, several vehicles that appear to be
inoperable were stored; this property would be considered a higher-risk neighbor.
