The primary purpose of this Final <br /> E nvironmental Impact Report (FFIR) is to Inform agencies and the pubhC 017,111Y y Sili111tICarlt <br /> environmental effects associated ��ith the Munn & Perkins Quarles FACavatioil Permit. <br /> Project Description <br /> Flle Proposed Project woaild alloNN Gcorgc Reed. Inc. (the applicant)to extend the rC(Ullar operating <br /> hours at the Murin & Perkins Quarry to accommodate night tinge road paving. projects. George <br /> Reed. Inc. has submitted a Revisions of Approved Actions Application to amend San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance Requirement No. 4 of previously approved Quarry Excavation Permit (Qk-89- <br /> 0002). San Joaquin County Ordinance Req€.airement No. 4 states: "The hours ofoperation with the <br /> exception of periods of declared National. State. or Courlty emergency, daily operations will be <br /> restricted to the period between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 ll.117,' Approvals for nighttime operation have <br /> been granted on a case by case basis the last 1 l years. <br /> I he Revisions of-Approved Actions request is to extend the hOLIFS ol'operation fl-0111 9:00 Imll. to <br /> 5:00 a.111. for projects that contain specifications that linlit work to ni�lllttinle lloui-s. The number <br /> ofextended nights will not exceed 125 nights per year provided there are no unexpected delays in <br /> construction work. Nighttime work will be limited to the asphalt batch plant, loaders. trucks including, <br /> a water truck, and scale house.
