CHANCE MARGIE WONG
4152 RIVIERA DRIVE
STOCKTON, CA 95204
PHONE (209) 465-6718
November 5, 2007
Kerry Sullivan, Director
c/o Kevin Swanson
San Joaquin County
Community Development Department
Re: Richard & Carolyn Hackett 7 Lot Major Subdivision Application
Planning Application 07000550 (SU)
We have lived in the "RIVIERA CLIFFS" subdivision for over 33 years. We
are so happy living here in the nicest residential area in Stockton. We feel
that the Hackett Development will destroy our beautiful residential area.
The Hackett development does not fit in with the character of the Riviera
Cliffs subdivision. I authored and we signed the Homeowner's Petition
Against the Hackett Application. A large number of the Riviera Cliffs
homeowners have also signed the Petition. The increased traffic at the
dangerous intersection is one of the main reasons why this application
should be denied. The second and just as important is the fact that the
infrastructure, sewer and water can not handle the increase in number of
homes. It is a major impact for the "RIVIERA CLIFFS" subdivision and we
insist that at least a focused ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT should
be prepared to address the impact of traffic, traffic safety and overloading
the infrastructure of sewer and water. To proceed with this application
without this Environmental Impact Report would be totally wrong.
Sincerely, Cc
l
a
C. Chance Wong And Marjorie A. Wong
