May 30, 2008 <br /> SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> RATTO, SARALE AND DEL CARLO PROPERTY <br /> 11981 SOUTH ROBERTS ROAD <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> OUR PROJECT NUMBER: LGS080506 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> Our office was contracted by Joe Ratto of River Ranch Investment Properties to conduct a Soil <br /> Suitability Study for the property at 11981 South Roberts Road in Stockton, California (the <br /> "Site' <br /> The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work <br /> included conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD) of San Joaquin County. <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic <br /> maps, and groundwater information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use <br /> with a septic system. <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, the <br /> EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 191-150-03. The parcel is approximately <br /> 260 acres in size (see Plate 1). The county application number i PA-08-027MS). The Site is <br /> currently used for farming nd a home site. <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic map, is <br /> between approximately 0 and 10 feet above mean sea level. The land grades in no general <br /> direction. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> (http://www.co.san-joaquin.ca.us),-th"ss bject property is zon6d AG-80, )general agriculture <br /> with a minimum parcel size of 80 acres.
