June 15,2006 <br /> NOA Project Number: E06057A <br /> 3.L9 [dater Supply and Sewage Disposal System <br /> The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on May 10, 2006 in an effort to obtain copies <br /> of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property;no permits were found. <br /> too However, at least one septic system and well exist on the subject property. <br /> 3.L6 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) well map 60612 <br /> was reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No <br /> too wells are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 3.L7 Site Reconnaissance <br /> ba <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on June 1, 2006. Photographs of <br /> the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist <br /> fto is attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property was observed to be relatively flat,rectangular parcel, slopping upward on the <br /> `, eastern side, to form the levee. A single-family residence, a car port, a water tank building, a brick <br /> storage building, an old barn, a pole barn, and a collapsed wood structure are located on the <br /> eastern side of the property. The collapsed structure had a concrete floor, old appliances near by, <br /> a portable storage tank inside and one outside. An abandoned well was also located near the <br /> collapsed structure. <br /> Abandoned vehicles, a pile of approximately 10 tires, a debris pile, concrete pipes,and old storage <br /> drums were located near the brick building. Near and in the pole barn were three old trailers and <br /> an abandoned jeep. To the south of the residence was a car port that contained one automotive <br /> battery. To the west of the residence was an irrigation pump,which appeared to be leaking oil. <br /> Minor amounts of oil appeared to be in the irrigation canal. The remainder of the property was <br /> observed to be agricultural land and irrigation canals. <br /> Several areas with little or no vegetation were noted on this site. Two monitoring wells were <br /> observed along the base of the levee, along the San Joaquin River. <br /> Three pole-mounted transformers were observed on the northeast portion, and three pole- <br /> mounted transformers were observed on the southeastern portion of the subject property. A blue <br /> PCB-free sticker was observed on those transformers. Two pole-mounted transformers were <br /> located south of the residence on the property.
