SITE AND VICINITY GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS <br /> The site is located in an area of relatively level terrain, with the exception of the pond areas north <br /> and south of the warehouse which are approximately 10-15 feet deep. Land use on site was <br /> fallow agricultural (alfalfa) in the northern portion of the site, a portion of unvegetated field <br /> north of the warehouse, two ponds on the north and south of the warehouse used to receive <br /> stormwater, and a warehouse used to store product (glass bottles: beer, wine, etc.). The Owens- <br /> Illinois Plant was located east of the site as well as the Tracy Biomass facility; the Union Pacific <br /> Railroad was located south of the site beyond which was the Tracy Peaker power plant at the <br /> time of Kleinfelder's assessment.
