Item No. 2
PC: 1-2-92
UP-91-21
Page 2
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This request is for a Use Permit application to establish a church facility in two phases. Phase I will be
composed of the conversion of an existing structure on the site to an 81-seat sanctuary, and Phase II will
be composed of the construction of a new 150-seat sanctuary and the conversion of the Phase I structure
to classroom or dining hall use. The existing meeting hall contains approximately 1,652 square feet, and
the proposed church will contain approximately 4,500 square feet. The facility will be provided access
in Phase I by a driveway on Seventh Street, while access in Phase II will be provided by that driveway and
a second one to be constructed on 'D'Street. The church will be served by the following services: water
supply by a private well, sewage disposal by a septic system, and storm drainage to be retained on the
site.
