2.2 Proposed Development
It is proposed to split the Site into two parcels. Ms. Balogh indicated that she has no
plans to develop the Site or change the land uses
2.3 Topography
A recent U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic map was obtained from the
San Joaquin County District Viewer. In the map, the Site is depicted as hilly land with
six structures and several unpaved roads. Three intermittent streams are shown
crossing the Site. The property is located at an elevation of approximately 330 to 490
feet above mean sea level. Surrounding properties are shown to be vacant land
crossed by unimproved roads. This map is included as Plate 3 in Appendix 1.
3.0 HISTORICAL RESEARCH
3.1 Aerial Photographs
Live Oak reviewed aerial photographs of the Site provided by the San Joaquin County
Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California. The available photographs were dated 1937,
1952, 1963, and 1975. Two additional photographs, dated October 1998 and July
2010, were obtained from the San Joaquin County District Viewer.
In the 1937 photo, the Site and surrounding properties appear to be grazing land.
Seven or more structures are apparent on the Site in approximately their current
locations, the southernmost horse barn is not visible. One pond can be seen near the
southern property line.
In the 1952 photo, the horse barn can now be seen. It appears that one or more of the
northern sheds have been rebuilt.
In the 1963 and 1975 photos, no significant changes are apparent.
In the 1998 photo, a new pond can be seen north of the existing pond.
In the 2010 photo, no significant changes are apparent.
These photos are included in Appendix 3 of this report.
LOGE 1321 Page 2
