The following dust control <br /> practices should be implemented: <br /> 1) All material excavated or graded should be sufficiently <br /> watered to prevent excessive amount of dust. Waterina <br /> should occur at least twice a day with complete <br /> coverage, preferably in the late morning and after work <br /> is done for the day. <br /> 2) All clearing, grading earth moving or excavation <br /> activities shall cease during periods of high winds <br /> greater than 20 mph average over one hour. <br /> 7 ) All materia'_ transported off-site shall be either <br /> sufficiently watered or securely covered to prevent <br /> excessive amount of dust. <br /> 4) The area disturbed by clearing, earth moving or <br /> excavation activities should be minimized at all times. <br /> 5) The developer should mow instead of disking for weed <br /> control, thereby leaving the ground undisturbed and with <br /> a mulch covering. <br /> B. After clearing, grading, earth moving, or excavation <br /> operation, fugit=ve dust emissions during construction phase <br /> should be controlled by the following methods : <br /> 1) all inactive portions of the construction site should be <br /> seeded and watered until grass growth is evident. <br /> 2) All active ,porti= s ot .the •sitn: ahall be sufficiently <br /> watered to prevent excessive amount of dust. <br /> C. At all times , fugitive dust emissions should be controlled <br /> using the following procedures : <br /> 1) On-sita vehicle speed shall be limited to 15 mph. <br /> 2 ) All area with vehicle traffic should be watered <br /> nericdicml' v fcr stabilization of dust emissions . <br />
