Such enclosures shall be of <br /> solid construction . <br /> C. The following landscaping shall be required: <br /> 1 . A minimum ten-foot-wide planting strip shall be <br /> required along the parcel frontage on Harlan Road. <br /> This strip shall be continuous except where crossed <br /> by required vehicular access and shall respect <br /> ultimate right-of-way widths . <br /> 2 . A minimum five-foot-wide planting strip shall be <br /> required around the project site. <br /> 3 . One tree shall be planted per thirty linear feet of <br /> project boundary line and property frontage line. <br /> 4. Planting shall be distributed to provide shade <br /> within ten years of planting between 10: 00 a.m. - <br /> 2 : 00 p.m. on 50% of all open parking stalls. <br /> 5 . Planting shall be required in open parking areas, <br /> exclusive of any landscaped strip abutting a street <br /> right-of-way or area used for walkways or driveways , <br /> based on 10% of the total area of the parking, <br /> loading , and driveway areas . <br /> 6 . A visual screen of plant materials will be planted <br /> along the east and south side of the storage area <br /> and the parking area, and along the west side of <br /> the parking area located south of the main <br /> buildings. This visual screen shall be maintained <br /> at a height that will block the view of the stored <br /> units from adjacent properties and Harlan Road. <br /> The plant materials shall be planted in such <br /> quantities and locations as to achieve a minimum <br /> seventy-five percent opaqueness within three years <br /> of installation. If the screen fails to retain such <br /> opaqueness any time after this three year period, <br /> it shall be supplemented or replaced with other <br /> dense landscaping , as approved by the Planning <br /> Division. <br />
