Such enclosures shall be of solid construction . C. The following landscaping shall be required: 1 . A minimum ten-foot-wide planting strip shall be required along the parcel frontage on Harlan Road. This strip shall be continuous except where crossed by required vehicular access and shall respect ultimate right-of-way widths . 2 . A minimum five-foot-wide planting strip shall be required around the project site. 3 . One tree shall be planted per thirty linear feet of project boundary line and property frontage line. 4. Planting shall be distributed to provide shade within ten years of planting between 10: 00 a.m. - 2 : 00 p.m. on 50% of all open parking stalls. 5 . Planting shall be required in open parking areas, exclusive of any landscaped strip abutting a street right-of-way or area used for walkways or driveways , based on 10% of the total area of the parking, loading , and driveway areas . 6 . A visual screen of plant materials will be planted along the east and south side of the storage area and the parking area, and along the west side of the parking area located south of the main buildings. This visual screen shall be maintained at a height that will block the view of the stored units from adjacent properties and Harlan Road. The plant materials shall be planted in such quantities and locations as to achieve a minimum seventy-five percent opaqueness within three years of installation. If the screen fails to retain such opaqueness any time after this three year period, it shall be supplemented or replaced with other dense landscaping , as approved by the Planning Division.
