` 3.6 Discussion of General Area Septic Tank Repair History: Repair history of the septic <br /> tanks in this area reveals that the leach lines and seepage pits have resulted in consistent unerring <br /> performance. This is based on the fact that no septic system repair application has been applied <br /> for. <br /> 3.7 Description of Proposed or Expected Maximum (including second unit dwellings) septic <br /> tank usage on site. The two parcels will have only primary residences, no second unit dwellings <br /> are planned, thus only one septic system per parcel is anticipated at this time. Per County <br /> ordinances, each parcel on this map is entitled to one primary residence and one second unit <br /> dwelling. Therefore this project could ultimately have 4 homes on the two proposed parcels. <br /> 4.0 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION: <br /> 4.1 Description of the depth and gradient of groundwater in the general area: The depth to <br /> ground water in this area is approximately 140 feet according to the map of"Lines of Equal <br /> Depth to Groundwater"published Spring, 1999,by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and <br /> Water Conservation District. The gradient descends from east to west. <br /> 4.2 Description/Discussion of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination <br /> issues in the general location of the site: The concerns for groundwater contamination in this <br /> area is deemed low due to the depths involved. Insecticides, pesticides, and fertilizers typically <br /> do not impact groundwater at these depths, however, as with any agricultural area, there is <br /> always potential for contamination due to chemicals used in the farming operation. <br /> 4.3 Description of location,type and construction of well and location where water <br /> sample(s)were obtained: Water samples were taken from a spigot at the house located at <br /> 19000 E. Stampede Road on February 11, 2005 by Mike Toy of Dillon&Murphy. The water <br /> samples were obtained at this location due to the fact there are no outlets for water on the project <br /> site. The sample site is adjacent to the project site. <br /> 4.4 Description of constituents being tested for in the water sample: The water samples are <br /> being tested for nitrates and DBCP. The results for dibromochloropropane (DBCP)were non- <br /> detected and the results for nitrates were 4.36 mg/L. <br /> 4.5 Description of how sample was obtained, handled, stored, and transported to the lab: <br /> The water samples were obtained from the spigot at the house located 19000 E. Stampede Road. <br /> The samples were taken by Mike Toy of Dillon&Murphy, and driven directly to Precision <br /> Enviro-Tech. The samples were taken and handled in accordance with Precision Enviro-Tech <br /> ` requirements. The results from the test can be found in the Appendix. <br /> _ 4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document, including printed and signed name of third <br /> party sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the <br /> lab.
