Or, for information updated less frequently
than quarterly by the government agency, within 90 days of the date the government agency makes
the information available to the public." This specification applies directly to the records obtained
from GeoTracker for Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) and Leaking Underground Fuel Tanks
(LUFTs) Sites.
Within the text of this Report, bolded Section (§) numbers are referenced at the beginning of an
applicable Section number, sentence, paragraph or Appendixes that correspond with the EHD
Requirements Checklist for Surface and Subsurface Contamination Reports.
2. PAST, PRESENT AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THE SITE
§ 2.1 The subject property has been owned by the Sorrenti's for the past 32 years. Prior to this
time, the Thornton Estate owned the subject property and farmed it for approximately 30 years.
There are no structures on the property. The project is located in the southeast quarter of Section
15, Township 1 South, Range 9 East, MDB&M. Surrounding structures consist of extremely low
density residential housing, agricultural production land and confined animal facilities (dairies and
horse ranches).
The property is located on the west side of Steinegul Road, approximately one-half mile south of
Dodds Road. It is bordered on the south by the San Joaquin County Mosquito Abatement District
property and to the north by the property owned by the Dutra Family. A cul-de-sac court is
proposed to enter the property and provide access to all six proposed Parcels. New residential
development is occurring approximately two miles to the south of the property.
The region has been farmed, particularly in rice and pasture land for the last several decades.
Surrounding irrigation is provided by irrigation wells and the Oakdale Irrigation District (OID).
The historical aerial photos illustrate that the subject property was entirely in rice production
(assumed) in 1970s, except for roads, levees and ditches.
3. IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF
CONTAMINATION
§ 3.1. The GeoTracker map illustrates one Leaking Underground Fuel Tank LUFT upgradient with
respect to groundwater flow, to the subject property. This LUFT site is also listed on the San
Joaquin County Envisions Outline Viewer files. The property is referenced as the Raymond Greer
site located at 15634 Steinegul. This address is approximately 2.5 miles to the south of the subject
property.
3
Chesney Consulting
