Plates 2 and 4. northeast of the site,variable !� <br /> adient and direction. <br /> 5.0 GEOLOGY, SOILS,AND PERCOLATION <br /> The geology at the subject site consists of Holocene and (or) and upper Pliocene alluvium of <br /> Calaveras River and Vicinity.' The Calaveras River and Vicinity was deposited by Calaveras <br /> River,Bear Creek, and several lesser streams between the Molelumne and Stanislaus Rivers. <br /> The alluvium consists of gravel, sand, silt, and clay including flood plane deposits. <br /> The site is located on Urban Land Soil. Information from the Soil Conservation Service is not <br /> available due to the land being covered and altered by Urban Growth. Selected soil properties <br /> neighboring the Urban Land area is summarized in the following table and can be located on <br /> Plate V <br /> Atwater,B.
