Item No.
PC: 10-4-90
MS-91-14
Page 1
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Planning Commission deny Minor
Subdivision Application No. MS-91-14 based on the inability to make
Findings No. 1 , 2 , and 9 .
FINDINGS
1. The proposed map is consistent with applicable General and
Specific Plans.
This Finding cannot be made because the owner does not
qualify as an owner-operator. He has not provided
evidence showing that he currently is operating the site,
as required by the agricultural homesite supplement to
the Minor Subdivision application.
2 . The design or improvement of the proposed division is
consistent with applicable General and Specific Plans.
This Finding cannot be made because the owner does not
qualify as an owner-operator. He has not provided
evidence showing that he currently is operating the site,
as required by the agricultural homesite supplement to
the Minor Subdivision application.
3 . The site is physically suitable for the type of development.
This Finding can be made because the site is large enough
for a single-family residence, and there are no known
hazards.
4 . The site is physically suitable for the proposed density of
development.
This Finding can be made because each lot is adequately
sized to meet area, width, and setback requirements.
5 . The design of the subdivision or the proposed improvements are
not likely to cause substantial environmental damage or
substantially and avoidably injure fish or wildlife or their
habitat.
This Finding can be made. The Initial Study prepared for
this project did not identify any rare or endangered
species or habitats or other substantial, adverse
environmental effects.
