GROUND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING
According to the map of "Lines of Equal Depth to Water in Wells" published spring of 1990 by the
San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, the depth to groundwater at this location
is between 130 and 140 feet.
There are three operating wells on the subject property. A water sample was obtained from the well j
closest to the proposed homesite (see Tentative Parcel Map) at 4:15 pm on May 13, 1991. The sample was i
submitted to the laboratory and tested for the presence of Nitrate. A copy of the test results is contained in the
Appendix. The results indicate that nitrates are below the MCL (maximum contaminate level) allowed by law.
Due to the present and past use of the subject and surrounding property (livestock grazing), it was not
felt necessary to test the well water for DBCP and EBD contamination.
cesc
2
