L
LMarch 27,2006
N Project Number: E05144B
L1 Soil Boring Locations
A total of six soil borings were advanced on the Site, to depths of approximately three to three and a
Lhalf feet,nine feet and twenty-five feet. The soil borings were used later for percolation test holes;
the locations of the borings are indicated in Plate 1.
L V15.2 Soil Boring Dimensions
The soil borings were approximat 1 3.5, 9 feets notedabove, and were four inches in
Ldiameter.
L /3 Soil Lithology Observed
Generally, the soil encountered in the boring was similar to the soils reported by the San Joaquin
Cohn Soil ¢, nzey fuer the area 1992). Tables 3,4, 5 and 6 present a soil log for the soil
Lborings located on Parcels 1, 2,3 and 4. Conditions were comparable in the other borings.
Table 3.
Soil Boring Log for Boring on Parcel 1.
r.
Deptb Interval(ft) Soil Type Unified Soil Classification
0.3' Dark brown sil da and gravel some cobbles GC / GM
Table 4.
Soil Boring Log for Borings for Parcel 2.
` Depth Interval(ft) Soil Type Unified Soil Classification
0-9 Dark brown, silty clay and gravel some cobbles GC / GM
Table 5.
Soil Boring Log for Borings on Parcel 3.
Depth Interval(ft) Soil Type Unified Soil Classification
0-25 Gravel with silt and clay GC /GNI
_ Table 5.
Soil.Boring Log for Boring on Parcel 4.
Depth Interval(ft) Soil Type Unified Soil Classification
0-3 Cobbles with some sda GC / GM
7
..
'-444
6—
