N.. .,i
4•
SOILS (cont)
is a variegated brownish yellow and yellowish brown, weakly cemented
to strongly cemented hardpan.
The most southerly portion of the property is Kingdon Fine Sandy Loam.
Typically, the upper surface layer is a brown fine sandy loam. The
lower surface layer is a grayish brown and brown fine sandy loam.
The upper subsoil is a brown and pale brown fine sandy loam. The
lower subsoil is a pale brown and brown loam and fine sandy loam.
The substratum is a pale brown and light gray fine sandy loam and
sandy loam.
CONCLUSIONS
Based on the test results and the performance of the existing septic
systems in the area, it is my opinion that the subject parcels are
suitable for use of the existing and proposed septic systemn.
Since the depth to groundwater is 140± feet, based on San Joaquin
County' s semi-annual groundwater report , and the maximum depth of
pits is 25 ' per San Joaquin County ordinance , the existing and proposed
systems are well above the groundwater elevation.
Based on the above information, the existing and proposed septic
systems should not adversly affect the groundwater in the area.
WATER WELL ANALYSIS
The tested well is used for both drinking water and irrigation.
DBCP(ug/L). NO3 (mg/L)
ND 13
The test results are below State standards for drinking water (test
results are attached)
bezley
