The proposal appears to be consistent with this <br /> policy <br /> Zone Reclassification <br /> Because the applicant is proposing to amend the General Plan designation a Zone <br /> Reclassification application will also be required at time of submittal of a full application. <br /> (Development Title 9-812) In order to approve a Zone Reclassification application the <br /> Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors shall determine that the following bases <br /> for Zone Reclassifications can be made in the affirmative: <br /> (a) The proposed zone district is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable <br /> Master Plan, and any applicable Specific Plan; and <br /> (b)The proposed zone district is reasonable and beneficial at the time <br /> Next Step <br /> When the applicant is ready to submit the full application it will be necessary to do the <br /> following: <br /> • Submit the remaining portion of the General Plan amendment fee. <br /> • Submit seven copies of the map to be amended. <br /> • Submit seven copies of the application. <br /> • Submit a Soil Suitability Study prepared to the specifications of the <br /> Environmental Health Division if applicable. <br /> • Submit a Zone Reclassification application to include: <br /> ■ Fourteen (14) copies of the completed application. <br /> ■ Fourteen (14) copies of the assessor page(s) with the area to be <br /> rezoned outline. Label the map with both the "existing" and <br /> "proposed" zoning of the plan. <br /> ■ One copy of the recorded deed. <br /> 3 <br />
