b) The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic <br /> tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is <br /> required for each parcel. A permit fee of$125 per percolation hole is required. <br /> c) Submit to the Environmental Health Department revised site plans showing the maximum number <br /> of persons the sewage disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans <br /> that the leach field area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a <br /> storage area. This leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot <br /> contain any underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1110.4(c)(5)). <br /> d) In addition, the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100% designed sewage disposal <br /> replacement area. <br /> e) Construction of an individual sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability/ Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br /> f) Construct a Public Water Well under permit and inspection of the Environmental Health <br /> Department prior to issuance of the building permit. Should the number of non-resident <br /> individuals exceed 24 for at least 60 days per year, or the number of service connections exceed <br /> four, a yearly permit to operate a public water system will be required by the Environmental <br /> Health Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9.). <br /> g) The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to assure <br /> delivery of pure, wholesome, and potable drinking water in accordance with San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Sections 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9 and C.C.R., Title 22, and Health and Safety <br /> Code, Section 116525 through 116570. <br /> Note: <br /> Applicant shall contact Adrienne Ellsaesser, Program Coordinator Unit IV, Registered Environmental <br /> Health Specialist, at(209) 468-0343, to determine if the existing well can be permitted as a public water <br /> system, prior to issuance of the building permit. <br /> h) Any geotechnical drilling shall be conducted under permit and inspection by The Environmental <br /> Health Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3 and 9-1115.6). <br /> i) If floor drains are required, they must be plumbed through a sand/oil separator and discharged to <br /> an above ground system approved by the Environmental Health Department. A registered <br /> engineer must design this system. The material collected in the above ground holding system <br /> must be analyzed for hazardous constituents prior to disposal. Specific test requirements may be <br /> obtained from the Environmental Health Department. A$250 plan check fee is required at the <br /> time of submittal. <br /> j) If hazardous material(s) is stored on site, applicant must register with San Joaquin County EHD <br /> and register hazardous material in the California Environmental reporting system <br /> (cers.calepa.ca.gov). <br /> k) If any quantity of hazardous waste is generated, a hazardous waste generator permit must be <br /> obtained from the EHD. The applicant must also obtain an EPA Identification Number, and <br /> comply with all applicable regulations. <br />
