WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS L—Ol D i -2- <br /> TENNECO WEST, INC.-VICTOR FRUIT OPERATIONS <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> 10. The Board in a public meeting heard and considered all comments pertaining <br /> to the discharge. <br /> IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, Tenneco West, Inc. , Victor Fruit Operations in order to <br /> meet the provisions contained in Division 7 of the California Water Code and <br /> regulations adopted thereunder, shall comply with the following: <br /> A. Discharge Prohibitions: <br /> 1. The direct discharge of wastes to surface waters or surface water drain- <br /> age courses is prohibited. <br /> 2. The by-pass or overflow of untreated or partially treated waste is pro- <br /> hibited. <br /> B. Discharge Specifications: <br /> 1. Neither the treatment nor the discharge shall cause a pollution or nui- <br /> sance as defined by the California Water Code, Section 13050. <br /> 2. The discharge shall not cause degradation of any water supply. <br /> 3. The discharge shall remain within the disposal area designated in <br /> Finding 2 at all times. <br /> 4. The 30-day average dry weather discharge flow shall not exceed 20,000 <br /> gallons per day (0.88 1/sec) and maximum daily shall not exceed 40,000 ' <br /> gallons per day (1.76 1/sec) . <br /> 5. Collected screening, sludges, and other solids removed from liquid <br /> wastes shall be disposed of in a manner approved by the Executive <br /> Officer. <br /> C. Provisions: <br /> 1. The Discharger may be required to submit technical reports as directed <br /> by the Executive Officer. <br /> 2. The Discharger shall submit a contingency plan within 120 days completed <br /> by a qualified engineer which describes the measures the Discharger will <br /> take to comply with Discharge Specification B. I. <br /> 3. The Discharger shall comply with Monitoring and Reporting Program No. <br /> 82-061 . <br /> 4. The Discharger shall comply with applicable portions of the Standard <br /> Provisions and Reporting Requirements, dated 21 September 1979, which <br /> are a part of this Order. <br />
