v ..i <br /> Proposed Winery Use: <br /> This Facility will continue to brine cherries and do cold storage. The waste produced from these <br /> activities will be unchanged. Sewage will be greatly be reduced due to fewer staff. The main <br /> change in effluents results from changing over the packing facility to a winery. <br /> Winery Waste: <br /> WildRose Vineyards Winery will have both liquid and solid waste. <br /> Solid waste will consist of grape pumice and stems. It will treat be treated with <br /> bio-mass product and returned to vineyard as compost. <br /> Liquid waste will be generated by two activities; crush wash down and tank wash <br /> down. <br /> A) Crush wash down will take place from mid August to late October. It <br /> will generate approximately 2,500 gallons per day. <br /> B) Tank wash down takes place when a tank is emptied. It will take <br /> place throughout fall and winter with a peak activity in October and <br /> November.
