March 28,2005 NOA Project Number: E05007A 4.0 EVALUATION OF IDENTIFIED CONTAMINATION SOURCES Due to their distance from the subject property, no impact to the subject property from the adjacent above-ground storage tanks is anticipated. 5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Given the historical uses of agricultural chemicals on the subject property, meaningful conclusions regarding the presence or extent of such material cannot be determined without soil sampling and analysis. Should new domestic water wells be developed on the subject property,EHD should be contacted for direction regarding the potential for impacts to groundwater from the agricultural history of the property and vicinity. 6.0 LIMITATIONS This report was compiled as a Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report for the subject property. This report contains information and data provided to NOA by several sources. NOA in no way warrants the accuracy or completeness of the information provided to this investigation by those sources. It should be noted that when an environmental is completed without sample collection and quantitative analysis of soil and groundwater beneath the site, as in this study, no statement of scientific certainty can be made regarding latent subsurface conditions which may be the result of on-site or off-site sources. The findings and conclusions of this report are not scientific certainties, but rather, probabilities based on professional judgement concerning the significance of the data gathered during the course of this investigation. NOA is not able to represent that the site or adjoining land contains r, no hazardous waste,oil,underground storage tanks,or other latent condition beyond that detected or observed by NOA during the Surface and Subsurface assessment. The possibility always exists for contaminants to migrate through surface water,air, or groundwater. Our office has not been provided with specific criteria for the development of this report other than a request to evaluate the property in question for possible problems related to toxic or hazardous agents, r. nor have we been directed to address any specific questions concerning the site. Should there be a need to conduct an investigation into a specific question not addressed in this report, contact our office immediately regarding your concerns. The ground surface was wet from rain at the time of the site visit and had been recently tilled; consequently, any soil staining present on the property may not have been detectable. bw 9
