Agricultural chemicals were stored outside along the north boundary <br /> and the property included underground storage tanks(USTs)for fueling airplanes;three USTs were <br /> removed in 1989,with no permits or documentation found,and one 1,000-gallon UST was removed <br /> in 1992 without permits,however confirmation sampling was performed.From at least 1998 through <br /> 2002 scrap metal was stored in the southern portion of the property. At the time of the site <br /> reconnaissance the property was vacant except for the metal hangar building and the runway. <br /> 3.1 SANBORN FIRE INSURANCE MAPS <br /> EDR-Sanborn Inc.was contacted to perform a search ofhistorical Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps with <br /> coverage of the area containing the subject property.Fire insurance maps typically identify structures <br /> from a fire hazard perspective. In addition,these maps identify structures and improvements which <br /> may pose environmental concerns. <br /> Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps were not available for the subject property. <br /> T. <br /> 3.2.
