Trinkle and Boys deserves additional attention and we should
n)ake a follow through call in four to six. weeks to see how they are progressing on their new system.
Also, John Brigham asked if we knew what phI was best for breaking down oil. He continues to have
problems with engine oil from the planes getting into his treatment system. He was wondering whether
San Joaquin Helicopters has a flocculation system that might work. The sump
appears to be clogged and the sump pump is reportedly not operating.
Stains that appear to be pesticide spills were noted on the asphalt between the shop/office building and
the gas pumps to the cast ofthe building. 'T'here were also heavy oil and grease deposits on the asphalt in
this area.
Ilic aircraft are currently being washed at Patterson Flying Service, but arrangements are being made to
replace the concrete and.install a new wastewater system within a.month or two. It will have a double
lined sump and two above grotxtd tanks. I suggested. however, that it was advisable to contact us with his plans.
111cy have two large dumpstcrs. One is for empty cardboard boxes which are recycled by Delta Paper.
The other is for paper bags and seals from the pesticide bottles. The dumpster for
the paper hags is emptied every four to five months.
