I <br /> L December 5,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05118A <br /> personal communication with Kathy Reinstein on November 12,2005, she recalled that the five <br /> acres had been split off of the original parcel years ago, and the septic system and well would most <br /> likely have been associated with the five acres. <br /> t- 3.1.7 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> The California Department of Oil, Gas,and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) well map W5-320 <br /> was reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. One well <br /> was depicted on the subject property. The name of this well is "Reece Community 1."The operator <br /> L of the well drilling was D.J. Pickrell. The well drilling commenced on June 11, 1962 and was <br /> completed on June 19, 1962 after having been found dry.The total depth of the well was 5,498 feet <br /> and was plugged to the surface after completion. The well was sealed 36 inches below ground <br /> Lsurface. The well summary report is included as Appendix F. <br /> 3.1.8 Site Reconnaissance <br /> LA visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on November 8,2005. Photographs <br /> of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist <br /> I, is attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> L The subject property was observed to be flat and rectangular in shape. The five-acre adjacent <br /> property indents into the property near the center of the eastern side. No structures exist on the <br /> property. The entire property is used as almond orchard. The northern boundary is defined by <br /> Route 132, and the southern boundary by Blewett Road. <br /> LTwo pole-mounted transformers were observed on the subject property;one near the southwest <br /> comer of the subject property and one near the center of the eastern side of the subject property. <br /> Both transformers were observed to be in good condition.The transformers both had silver retrofit <br /> stickers,but no blue PCB-free stickers were observed. <br /> Near the center of the east property line was a debris pile that appeared to have been dumped on <br /> Lthe subject property (Figure 4).Two car batteries, several empty gasoline containers,three tires and <br /> other miscellaneous debris were observed in this pile. Near the northeast comer of the subject <br /> Lproperty,a bum pile and a few piles of miscellaneous debris were observed (Figures 7, 8&9). <br /> Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the south of the <br /> subject property was farm land and a few single family residences. To the west of the subject <br /> L, property was orchard with a residence.To the north of the property was Route 132.
