NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 61 to r*vP o <br /> BEFORE THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS <br /> NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT BEGINNING 1:30 P.M., ON NOVEMBER 6, 2012, or as soon as the <br /> matter can be heard thereafter, THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, IN <br /> THE CHAMBERS OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, on the Sixth Floor of the <br /> Administration Building, 44 N. San Joaquin Street, Stockton, California, will hold a public <br /> hearing and receive oral and written statements regarding the following application and its <br /> environmental determination: <br /> PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE APPEAL BY JUDY AND ROMANO ISOLA OF THE <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION'S APPROVAL OF SITE APPROVAL APPLICATION NO. <br /> PA-1200063 OF VERNON AND JENISE VIERRA (C/O ST. JORGE WINERY) to expand an <br /> existing small winery and increase the number of marketing events and attendees per <br /> marketing event. (Use Type: Wineries and Wine Cellars—Winery, Small) The expansion includes <br /> the construction of a 5,652 square foot wine garden, a 300 square foot commercial kitchen, a <br /> 1,600 square foot storage building, a 336 square foot wine storage building, a 288 square foot <br /> covered patio, a 420 square foot restroom facility, and increase the number of marketing events <br /> from the previously approved four marketing events to twenty-four marketing events per year <br /> and increase the number of attendees from the previously approved 25 people to 150 people <br /> per marketing event. The project site is located on the west side of Bender Road, 375 feet <br /> north of Taddei Road, northwest of Lodi (Supervisorial District 4). Environmental <br /> Determination: An Initial Study indicates that this project will not have a significant effect on the <br /> environment, and a Negative Declaration has been posted. <br /> Planning Commission Recommendation: Approval <br /> All persons interested in this matter are invited to be present and submit written and/or oral <br /> statements regarding the project or the environmental determination at this hearing. If you <br /> challenge the nature of the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those <br /> issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written <br /> correspondence delivered to the Planning Division at, or prior to, the public hearing.
