The Cherokee Industrial Park is
ba composed of 38 parcels ranging in size from 0.8 to 2.9 acres in size. The park is roughly 70
acres in size (about 0.11 square miles). The average lot size including the roads is about 1.86
acres. These figures indicate that the septic system density of the park is roughly one septic
6' system for each 1.86 acres. This is equivalent to a density of 345 septic systems per square mile.
North of the park along Newton Road, and along Highway 99,these areas utilize individual
ho septic systems for sewage disposal.
3.5 Septic and Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity
on
Mr. Ray Borges of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department indicated to our
office that the industrial park has a history of septic system repairs.
